What my clients say

“I had the most amazing yoga massage with Beth. Truly restorative, a whole body experience and I feel like I've "returned home". Thank you so much. I will most definitely be back. Highly recommend.

During the sessions, I find a true sense of peace that leaves me feeling relaxed and soothed, mentally as much as physically. Beth is kind, compassionate and highly intuitive. As a therapist she is, quite simply, outstanding.

It’s time to feel good again

Our health systems, and cultural ideas can easily have you thinking you’re made up of separate parts that don’t have much to do with each other.

After supporting 100’s of people to heal physically, mentally and spiritually I say with confidence, that is not the case. The inconvenient truth is that ignoring your pain, your body, or stress levels won’t make it go away, and often makes it worse.

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage offers a different approach - a chance to honour your wholeness. These treatments have a profoundly healing effect on the physical body whilst creating the opportunity to integrate your mind, body and spirit through deep relaxation, self discovery and nervous system restoration.

About

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (AYM)

  • two hands massaging lower back

    Relieve pain

Through deep tissue massage, relaxation that gently working with the muscles, facia, tendons, joints and nervous system Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (AYM) can significantly soften tension, reduce pain and release holding.

Deep tissue means a massage with a firm pressure but suited to what feels good to you.

Using my feet and forearms as well my hands, allows me to provide a pressure that gets to the areas of tension without feeling too ‘pokey’ and painful. Instead, you’ll experience it as deeply relaxing which often yields longer lasting results.

  • Restore movement

    Restore Movement

The massage techniques of AYM are enhanced by the incorporation of gentle assisted stretches, mobilisations and traction. These help to create length in the tissues, restore posture, improve circulation, energy flow and healthy mobility in the joints whilst being simultaneously relaxing.

You don’t need any experience of yoga or flexibility. Each treatment is designed to suit your body, and requirements. Any stretches are gradual and not forced - I’ll doing the movements for you in a way which feels safe for you body.

    Reset your system

AYM helps to guide the body (in particular the autonomic nervous system) into a deep healing state.

In the treatment we notice patterns of holding tension, and gently guide the body to surrender to deep rest. This helps to retrain the body to relax and end patterns of holding.

Supporting the body to access this healing state for sustained time as we do in AYM helps to reduces stress on the body, and frees up resources that it can then put towards restoration and recovery of body and mind.

  • Rest the mind

All aspects of this treatment are designed to support both the body and mind to relax. As well as feeling great in their bodies, most people also find profound relaxation of the mind, feel deeply connected to themselves and the world, feel very present, grounded, energised and/or at peace.

Simple mindfulness, meditation, self-enquiry, breathing techniques can be incorporated to support this process. This helps you to connect to your body, dropping you out of your mind and into the moment so you can fully experience your treatment.

What my clients say

After my experience with Beth this afternoon I sent a message to a friend which read “ I just had a celestial Ayurvedic yoga massage and I’m floating”…. Which I think sums up my experience. Beth is so kind, open, inquisitive and supportive to an experience which was brand new to me but I honestly feel she’s opened a door which I look forward to exploring further - the connection between my body, brain and breath; how empowering it is to be vulnerable and open and allow your body to be guided through powerful and gentle stretches - which seem to simultaneously provide energy, relaxation and release.
